About this Wiki

A wiki is a website that is created in collaboration with many authors who are enthusiastic, knowledgeable or experts in a certain subject. (Learn more about wikis here.) The subject here is the Model Muse Barbie body sculpt and Barbies produced by Mattel with this body sculpt. There are many dolls that need to be added. If you already see a page for your doll feel free to add a gallery page. If you have some useful information pertaining to mm dolls or Barbies in general create a new page under guides. The possibilities are endless . . .

First, take sometime to familiarize yourself with the Wetpaint wiki environment. Take a look at some of the pages and learn more in the Wetpaint FAQs here. Once you feel comfortable with the way things work jump right in following the instructions below!

How to Contribute: First you must be a fan of Model Muse Barbies. Join Wetpaint. It takes just a few clicks. Familiarize yourself with the way things work. Request to be a writer. Wait for approval and you are ready to begin.

Add a page in the MM Wiki: Choose a year to add a doll or gallery. Click "Add a new page" Name it & save it. Click EasyEdit. Start typing. Save and view your page. Don't forget to add an edit note! Don't worry if it's not perfect or in the right place. The moderators will edit and move things around.

How to Add To This Site!

You can create a new page or a subpage. For a new page use the NEW DOLL TEMPLATE!!!! Use this template when you want to use photos and text to discuss a new doll. Click EasyEdit, then highlight the existing text with your cursor and type over it with your own words: You can write as much as you want! Be sure to keep the main headings in every new doll template. You can add more main headings if you would like but each doll should have the info contained in the template.

There is sample photo that is easy to replace with one of your own: Click the EasyEdit button, highlight the placeholder image at left and hit "delete." Then click the "image" button in the toolbar and use the "browse" button to find the image you want to insert from your computer. It's that easy.

The text can be wrapped around your image, or you can have the text start below the photo. You can also move the photo to the right side of the page. See your choices for photo and text placement by clicking on the photo with your mouse and then clicking "image" on the toolbar.

You can also change the size of your photo by clicking on it once to highlight it, then by clicking the "plus" or "minus" sign in the "Edit Image" toolbox. When you're all done, save your page. See additional instructions in the template.

If there is already a main page and a gallery, you can add a new subpage gallery with pictures of your own doll. The main page should have only one picture. Click the add a new page and select from either of the two gallery templates or use a blank page. Promotional pictures without logos can be used. All pictures must be credited so please use your own pictures or pictures that you have obtained permission to use. Do not take pictures from other sites, ebay or anywhere without permission.

When you are done, save your page and add information about your change in the edit note. This helps to keep track of all changes!
